You Will Need (7 things)

  • Cotton Cloth
  • Plastic Button
  • Lace Trim
  • Sewing Thread
  • Needle
  • Scissors
  • Sewing Machine

Steps (4 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

    Sew lace trims
Cut two pieces of cotton cloth measuring 15*18cm that the checked one is outside fabric, while the floral one is lining fabric. Overlap two cloths with wrong side outside. Lay two laces measuring 15cm with flat sides outward between two cloths keeping 5mm from the edge. Sew two sides with laces and turn the right side out.

  2. 2

    Sew a shape of pouch
Fold both sides with laces to the middle line. Note that we need to overlap two laces to avoid making the opening too loose. Sew both ends.

  3. 3

    Firm the pouch
Turn the wrong side out and make sure four corners are right angles. Sew both ends again to make the pouch firmer.

  4. 4

    Decorate the bag
Turn right side out. Sew a long strip of lace to wrap the pouch at 1/3 from the top end as the picture shows. Tie the lace as a bow and add some buttons for embellishing.
