  • How to make fake skin. Halloween Burned Flesh - Step 1
    Step 1

Lubricate your face with the Vaseline so the Papier-mâché is easier to get off.

  • How to make fake skin. Halloween Burned Flesh - Step 2
    Step 2

Rip the newspaper into shreds and apply in layers with the glue to the lubricated part of your face.

When you are satisfied add a layer of slightly scrunched up tissue paper to the surface and leave on your face to dry.

    Step 3

When it is nearly dry you can take it off your face and leave it to dry completely ( you might want to wash the Vaseline off of your face as well).

  • How to make fake skin. Halloween Burned Flesh - Step 4
    Step 4

When it is completely dry you can apply a base coat of red poster paint. While this is still wet, paint over it with a little black paint for a chard effect.

  • How to make fake skin. Halloween Burned Flesh - Step 5
    Step 5

When that is dry lightly dab red paint onto the ridges of the Papier-mâché.

  • How to make fake skin. Halloween Burned Flesh - Step 6
    Step 6

Dab patches of PVA glue over it so it looks like it is weeping (eeww, hehe).

To apply it to your face put eye lash glue on the back and apply it where you want.
