This is a fun project to make around Halloween. I made it for my Halloween Room in my house. You can use an old baby carriage (I found mine in an antique store for $35) or you can use an old wooden milk bottle crate, or old picket fence tops made into a box. Use your imagination and what you can find. The possibilities are endless! I collect Spooky Town houses and figurines from Micheals. So I wanted to make a diorama to show off some of my collection. You can use anything you can find around Halloween time. Mini skeletons, small tombstones, make jack o lanterns out of sculpty. Use your imagination and go wild!

Get all your supplies ready and in one place. Work somewhere where you can make a mess! Plug in your hot glue gun to get it all ready! Bring in a friend to help. I brought in Gup Gup the pug for moral support.
Use scrapes of Styrofoam or cardboard to use on the bottom of your carriage. I used the packaging for my Spooky Town haunted house. These will not be seen. All you want is to fill up dead space in the bottom of the carriage.
Measure the inside of your carriage and then cut a piece of foam to that size. I used upholstery foam. You can also use foam core or floral foam.
Place your piece of foam inside the carriage on top of the 'filler'.
Place the objects you will put in the diorama on the foam to make sure they all fit. This is a good time to figure out where everything will go!
Get your glue gun (which should be hot by now) and start gluing (from the furthest part of the diorama towards the front of it) your moss down.
This is what it should start to look like. Fill in any gaps where you can see the foam under the moss.
Now starts the fun part! Start placing your objects onto the moss. I used just a dab of hot glue to the bottom of the tombstones so they would stay in place. I did not do this with the haunted house because it was heavy enough to stand on it own without the help of glue. I try not to glue objects down that don't need it because I might want to move them or remove them in the future.
I took some pebbles from my garden and hot glued them down to make a pathway for the ghosts!
I then took my vulture and using the wires that were already attached to his feet, I tied them around the handle of the carriage.
I did the same thing for the crows on different parts of the carriage.
It was then wheeled over to my TV Corner, where it joined the rest of my spooky decor!
All finished. Took me just under and hour to make!
