I love animal ears and my collection was getting quite big, but I could never find a nice way to display them. After giving up the hunt for nice stands to buy online, I decided to make my own.

Start by making your templates. You can print out mine above, or make your own using a headband to judge the size.
You need a template for the head and a template to gauge how thick you want the holder to be.
Blue tack the head template on to thick plastic and cut out.
Make two of these.
Use the side template to cut long strips of thick black card.
Bend the black card around the top of the head shape.
It's okay if it doesn't stretch the whole way round, as you can glue two strips together.
Fold another strip around the base of the head.
Heat up your glue gun and little by little, glue the black card around the edges of the two head templates.
Keep going around the outline. Don't worry if it looks messy, you can peel off any extra glue and clean it off afterwards.
Make sure it stands up straight and you're all done!
