I have done it to.... Because of my passion with clay and sculpting in general, ive come to a conclusion... It needs time...LOADS AND LOADS of time...at first it wont come out well....but after a few tries will be ok... About the mask now, try to follow a very specific shape, it will help your mask look realistic.
