Step 1
Make 48 squares in total, work different colour
combinations as desired.
Base ring 4ch, join with sl st
3ch (counts as first tr), 15tr into ring
Sl st into top of 3ch to join rnd
Round 1 3ch (count this as first tr), 1tr into same
space, 1ch, (miss 1sts, 2tr into next sp, 1ch) rep 6
times more, sl st into top of 3ch to join rnd
Round 2 sl st to next corner space made by ch sts
change to new colour on last sl st, (3ch, 2tr, 2ch,
3tr) into same space, *1ch, 3tr into next edge sp,
1ch, (3tr, 2ch, 3tr) into next corner space, repeat
from * rep twice more, 1ch, 3tr into next edge sp,
1ch, sl st to join rnd
Round 3 sl st to next corner space change to new
colour on last sl st, 3ch, (2tr, 2ch, 3tr) into same
space, *1ch, then 3tr into first edge space, 1ch,
then 3tr into next edge space, 1ch, (3tr, 2ch, 3tr) all
into next corner space, rep from * twice more, then
(1ch, 3tr into next edge space) twice, 1ch, sl st to
join round, break yarn and fasten off.
FINISHING
Work 6x8 squares together using sl sts.
Handwash, dry flat and block if necessary
