Glass etching is crazy quick and easy and most of the time it’s just a matter of having the solution on hand. I bought mine online for like ten bucks, so it was cheap and you can do a lot of projects with it. I actually etched a glass for Jess for her birthday/friendaversary present. Mind you, I knew where my cutting mat was and it hadn’t apparently disappeared on me like it currently has.

Cut out your stencil and place it onto your glass. As I mentioned earlier, I cannot for the life of me find my cutting mat so I ended up doing a really terrible job cutting out the rebel logo and for that I apologize.
Slather on your etching solution and allow to sit for however long the directions suggest. For my solution it was one minute and no longer. I might have messed that up a bit.
Once the required time has passed, wash your glass under tepid water until all of the solution is gone then you can pick off your stencil and dry your glass. My came out imperfect, but I kind of like that about it.
