Fridge Magnets are FUN!

So here they are, my first crafty attempt at those funky little fridge magnets as seen on Not Martha's website. I did both sets with crafters cement, half marbles, little scrap booking magnets and a exacto knife all from Dollar Giant. The pic's are from the collection of mags I always have kicking around the bathroom. The glue is stinky so be prepared. It is also poison I noticed after I started using it, so I had to clean down the whole office desk after for Beastie Safety. These are not by any means perfection. The marbles have noticeable flaws, but I actually kind of like it that way. It makes them more unique. I did not do backings either before gluing on the magnets as I figure who is going to seem them anyway when they are one the fridge. You can see the paper of the magazine pictures on some of them at the side if you REALLY ARE LOOKING. But if you are doing that you really need to relax more and crafts are defiantly not for you. All and all I think this was a totally fun, cheap and easy project that gives really quick results. I feel so accomplished:) As some of you know I am also a fridge magnet nut, and I do intend to make many more. I am going to get clear plastic f0r the next batch though because I will be doing the Simpson's family as gifts. I also have ideas for other things like scraping embellishments......hmmmmm........... Now my only problem is that these are a choking hazard for YOU KNOW WHO so I will have to be really sure they are out of reach as safe from prying hands and tasting mouths. Maybe I will have to put them away for a while or better yet watch your mail for magnets!
