  • How to make a toy. Gizmo - Step 1
    Step 1

Take one long strip of felt/material that fits round the wrist plus a little extra. Cut a rectangle 9cm x 15cm out of felt and sew it onto the strip so it lies horizontally on the arm.

    Step 2

Cut another rectangle the same size as above the cut a window out of that (7cmx11cm) and use some fabric glue to stick vinyl over the reverse side of the window.

    Step 3

Sew some Velcro to the strip going round the wrist. Make sure you do it on the right sides so they can attach. I put a few pieces of the loop side to make it more adjustable.

    Step 4

Find a picture of a dinosaur and position it in the window. Stick the window side to the bit attached to the wrist strap. Add some buttons as controls.

  • Step 5

Let dry completely and round off the corners.
