Nom Nom!!
I saw one similar online for sale, but me being me decided to try and make one myself!!

*if you don't have buttons, or ricrac, you could always use beads/pom poms and riboon instead!*

Abbreviations:
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet

It took me 1.5 hours to make, but i'm pretty new to crochet so not very fast yet! Will probably take anyone else less time.

  • Step 1

    Get your wool and the hook size to match the wool you're using. Chain enough chains so it's slightly wider than your phone.

    *you need an odd number of chains in your foundation chain for the pattern to work*

  • Step 2

    SC the first row, then for the rest of the rows follow this pattern:
    *SC 1, DC 1*
    the last stitch in every row will be a DC.

  • Step 3

    Do this for as many rows as you need to fit your phone, Finish Off and leave enough wool to stitch sides together before you cut it.
    Do another piece the same for the back, then stitch front and back together and weave in ends.

  • Step 4

    Depending on the fit or personal preference,you may want a closure on it. If you do, sew a button on the back, then chain a length to fit around it in the same colour as the rest of your cozy and attach to the inside of the front. Weave in ends.

    Step 5

    Now sew/glue on your buttons and ric rac. If using hot glue place something inside to prevent the front and back from sticking together (but not your phone!!).

    Now you're finished!! :) Sit back and admire!
