A very simple and pretty baby carriage blanket
This simple yet adorable carriage blanket is super easy to whip up as a gift or for your little one. Its a great way to use up scrap yarn and to experiment with various color combinations! You can use any weight yearn you like ... here I used Dale Of Norway Baby Ull for the green and various scrap yarns in the same fingering weight.

Now all you do is keep going from here on out and make it to the size of your desire! If you like to switch colors do it at the beginning of each square before you make that initial ch 5 . When I reached my desired size I added a border of double crocheting in each stitch and then repeated for three more rounds. Then I experimented with a new stitch for the border I used a cross stitch here. Anything goes.
