a sugar high waiting to happen!
Used a giant cupcake mould (think you can get them in ASDA or online) and stuck the two layers together with icing and jam! then go as crazy as u like icing your masterpiece! (it get's better with practice, this was not my first attempt)

ah thanks, they're pretty cool, and get a good reaction too! my first attempt was a disaster as i used too big a piping nozzle around the base! but it was still good to eat!

It's called "Jumbo Cupcakes" I think the brand is DRW. It's one of the silicone mould types. You can get giant cupcake baking tins from Wilton but I don't know how easy it'd be to remove the cake.
