My kid sister(11y/o) put in a request for a huge shoulder bag that she could carry her books in for school, and so I was determined to make her one before Christmas. She loved it I used about Half a yard of each fabric ( it is lined) to make the bag. This one does not have pockets however the ones that i have sold since hers have had pockets added to them. It is about 18" across by about 13" deep.
