The first thing I ever created from polymer clay (about a year ago) are these frog - that's what they're supposed to be - earrings. I needed something green for a theme party and a frog was the first thing that came into my mind. (sorry I don't have pictures of the making process)

You start with making three balls (1 big, 2 small) of green clay. Then you make two even smaller balls from white clay, and 2 black dots.
With something like a pen or the blunt side of a wooden skewer, you push into the small green balls, so that you can fit the white balls in.
After that, you push with a pen or the sharp side of the skewer two clefts in the white balls, so that you can fit the black dots in there.
Carefully press the eyes onto the big green ball (make sure not to squeeze them!)
Then, with the sharp utenstil, you "draw" a mouth under the eyes.
Just above the eyes, push in the bar with a loop (for the earring hooks).
WARNING, this step is cruel and not suitable for all ages :P Bake the frogs - aaaaw :( - about 20 minutes, 110 C
Attach the earring hooks and varnish the frogs with clay varnish.
Wear them with a smile as big as the froggys :D
