Frenchy

This is Frenchy the rat. His head is a plastic ball covered in paper mache. I sculpted his face with paper clay and set his eyes in, slightly deeper than the rest of his face and added decorative tacks for 3dimensional pupils. His body is a piece of wood shaped somewhat like a birdhouse with a rounded bottom. His arms and shins are thin dowels but his thighs are slightly thicker. His hands and feet are carved wood. His tail is a bundle of floral wire wrapped in hemp cord, so its both bendable and allows him to stand without a base.
