Description

This is a wonderfully decorative stitch and can be used for securing sequins if you fancy adding sparkle to your projects.

Instructions

  1. Small 107802 2f2015 03 04 104438 dsc 0313

Secure the end of your floss and bring your needle up through the front of your fabric. Holding the point of your needle pointing to the left, wrap the length of thread away from you around the needle in an anticlockwise direction three or four times.

  2. Small 107802 2f2015 03 04 104454 dsc 0316

Keeping those wraps taut on your needle, push the point back down into the fabric very close to where you came up.

  3. Small 107802 2f2015 03 04 104837 dsc 0319

As you pull the needle down, the wraps will be gathered together.

  4. Small 107802 2f2015 03 04 104843 dsc 0321

Once the floss is pulled through, the wraps will be pulled down against the fabric in a sweet little knot.
