Instructions

  1. Small picture 3 1234567677

gather your supplies...and print out your cover and months on the velum and your designs onto the cardstock. cut out all designs from cardstock and all months from velum.

  2. Small picture 4 1234569779

match up the design with each month. I choose my designs based on whose birthday was taking place that month. So for instance, my husband’s birthday is in november and he likes bold design. I matched him up with oneof the bolder and more modern designs i choose for this calendar. it still fits with all the other pieces, but stands out a bit. TIP: thi s is a great opportunity to really make this calendar yours. why not use the template and add your own design - or add pictures of your friends whose birthday is that month. Why not use hearts for february, shamrocks for march and snowflakes for december

  3. Small picture 5 1234569840

starting with january, place the velum over the design sheet making sure to center the velum over the design and make sure they are flush at the top. clasp to- gether with the binder clip.

  4. Small picture 6 1234570103

measure across and place a dot with your pencil every .25”. use your japanese screw punch to punch a hole on every dot. repeat this for all of the months and the cover. 3. TIP: if you happen to have a coil binding machine handy, just punch the holes with that. and move onto step: 5

  5. Small picture 7 1234570279

once you’ve got all your holes punched go ahead and line up all your sheets and begin winding the coil through them. I found it handy to use the binder clip to keep them in line.

  6. Small picture 8 1234570296

cut off any remaining coil leaving one full circle. you’ll want to nedn that and tuck it under the one before it. when you’re done that, right in your importantdates and display!
