  • How to make a fondant. Fondant - Step 1
    Step 1

Get all the things you need ready!
To make fondant, you're gonna need:
1 white part of an egg
2 spoons of liquid glucose ( I used liquid sweetener, and it worked out well )
    500 g of powdered sugar
And food colouring, if you want to.

    Step 2

Mix the egg and the liquid glucose together in a big bowl. You might not see the point of it now, but believe me, you're gonna need a big bowl.

    Step 3

Slowly mix the powdered sugar and the mix of liquid glucose and egg together. Make sure you use small amounts of powdered sugar every time, otherwise it won't mix properly.

    Step 4

When it gets harder to use the spoon, you can use your hands to mix the last bit. If you want to add some food colouring, this is the time to do it :)

    Step 5

Make one, or two balls, and put them in a closed plastic bag, then put THAT in another plastic bag and close it properly.

    Step 6

Put it somewhere dark, outside the fridge. You can keep this fondant for 7 months if you keep it the way I described here.
(The paper says when I made it, so that I won't forget that :) )
