  • How to make a pair of fabric earrings. Foam Jewellery - Step 1
    Step 1

Gather your supplies on a flat surface. Cut out shapes from your foam. To save time, you can buy pre-cut shapes from some toyshops or children's craft sections, and I quite like doing this because it makes you work with shapes you might not have chosen yourself, which can lead to some unexpected masterpieces.

Use a headpin, eyepin or needle to pierce a small hole close to the top of your foam shape.

Open your jump ring with your needle nose pliers, brining one side towards you, keeping the circle intact, and thread through the hole you just made.

Attach an earring finding onto your jump ring and close the ring. You can miix and match different colours or shapes, or you can incorporate 'real' jewellery components.
