Just a flutterbye
this is almost a water color like butterfly. you blend the colors into one another. Choose 4 dark colors and 4 light colors, one Darker color then the rest and white.

    Draw out your lines with the 4 darker colors, they do not have to match.

    get your 4 lighter colors, load up your brush with water and color. start at the lines you already painted and blend out. Unless you have totally run out of color on your brush, you shoud not need to get more.you want the colors to be washed out towards the ends. At the corners of your eyes, take the darkest color and draw out two lines and fill the area in between the 2 lines in.

    take a wet paper towel and wrap it around your finger tip. remove some of the color in circles in spots on your forehead and cheeks

    Draw the outline of the removed paint spots

    blend out the colored outline you just made.

    Draw on some antennae, fill in the circles with white, outline your eyes with the color you used on the sides. color in lips in colors you used in your butterfly, add some miner makeup for shine or glitter and there ya go, a water color butterfly.
