The kit was so easy to follow that my catcher was made in no time, meaning I could get creative and give my one a unique summer twist.

You Will Need (5 things)

  • Wire Hoop
  • String
  • Wooden Bead(s)
  • Fake Flowers
  • Wire

Steps (15 steps, 15 minutes)

  1. 1

Cut a long length of string and tie in a knot to the top of the wire hoop.

  2. 2

Loop the string around the hoop eight times, trying to make them as evenly spaced as possible.

  3. 3

When you reach the top, pull the string tight and knot.

  4. 4

Work your way around the hoop again, this time looping the string around the middle of the previous row of strings you strung.

  5. 5

Tighten up and tie off when you reach the top again.

  6. 6

Continue this process to add as many extra rows as you like.

  7. 7

String on a few beads when you begin to reach the middle of your catcher.

  8. 8

Add as many as you like.

  9. 9

Finish off by looping the string across the open part in the middle a few times and knotting off.

  10. 10

Pick out some fake flowers to fit around the hoop.

  11. 11

Use some string or wire to tie each flower in place.

  12. 12

Continue working your way around the hoop, overlapping the flowers to hide the wires.

  13. 13

When you're happy with the design, trim off any loose stalks.

  14. 14

Cut a length of string and tie around the top of the wreath to make a hanging loop.

  15. 15

Finally, cut some long lengths of string and tie them to the bottom of the wreath. String a bead on the bottom and tie off.
