  • How to make a flower hair clip. Flower Hair Accessories - Step 1
    Step 1

First, get your piece of felt that you wish to use. You won't need much! Also, grab a piece of paper and cut out a small triangle.

    Step 2

Get a piece of chalk and draw around your triangle as many times as you like, each triangle is a petal. I did 6 triangles. I prefer to use chalk as it rubs out easily whereas pen smudges and often doesn't wash away.

    Step 4

Take one triangle and fold it in half. I put a pin through it to keep it in place.

This picture might be little difficult to see. But along the bottom of your triangle sew with your needle and thread.

    Step 13

You now have to sew the last petal and the first petal together. (It doesn't matter if it's untidy as you won't see it)

Begin to warm up your glue gun and choose your gem!

Glue your gem to the centre of your flower using the glue gun.

Flip it over and carefully use the glue gun to put some glue on the back.

    Step 17

While the glue is wet, take your hair grip/slide (whatever you wish to call it) and gently pull it so it makes a 'V' shape and only one part of the grip will be stuck. Stick the bumpy or zig-zag side so you are able to put it in your hair.

Your flower should now be complete and look like this. Enjoy!
