Fruity, nutty Florentines
These are a nice treat at Christmas time.

They can be made smaller or bigger sized depending on how big your appetite is.

    Step 1

    Pre-heat oven gas 4

    Place margarine, sugar & syrup in a pan and gently heat until all ingredients are melted.

    Remove from the heat.

    Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan & stir to combine.

    Place spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet.

    Place in the oven for 10 mins.

    Leave to cool completely on the tray.

    Remove from the tray & coat the base with a layer of chocolate.

    Allow the chocolate to set and they are ready to eat.
