I made a pair for one of my friend's birthday, and i made a pair for myself. I used dark purple/pink fleece, and i used a drawstring to close the top. to measure yourself to make them, measure around the top of your calf and add two inches, and then measure from the top of your calf to the bottom of your heel and add three inches. Mine was nineteen by fourteen inches.
