Part of a christmas gift to my sister who studies in England, and who right now loves anything with our flag on it :)
This tutorial can work with any flag, as long as it does not have too many details ;)

You Will Need (6 things)
- Chain or thread
- Jump Ring(s)
- Fabric in the colours of your flag
- Scrap of Cardboard (or plastic)
- Scissors
- Glue
Steps (7 steps, 60 minutes)
-
1
Start by finding a picture of your flag, or draw an example (This is optional, but I always prefer to do that).
Then you draw one in the size you actually want and cut it out. -
2
Use a scrap of cardboard or plastic, and cut a square a little bit smaller than what you want your flag to turn out like.
-
3
Now use the fabric and cut out the pieces of your flag. Since I made the Norwegian flag I cut out a red square in the size of my drawing, and a couple of blue and white stripes, the blue ones being thinner than the white ones.
(Remember to make two of each, if you want your flag to be double sided) -
4
If you want your flag to look a little worn just pull out some threads from the edges. This is of course easier with flags that only have straight angles in them.
-
5
Glue the base colour(for me it's the red square) on to the cardboard or plastic square. Then you glue on the rest of the fabric-bits.
Repeat on the other side(reversed) if you want it doublesided. -
6
Using a thick needle, or something similar, punch a small hole in the top-left corner.
-
7
Insert a jumpring, add the chain or thread, and it's ready to wear! :)
