You Will Need

  • Step 1

    cut your waistband

-choose how wide you want it, double it and add an inch for seams. for the length (around your waist) measure where you want it to sit and add an inch.

  • Step 2

    skirt

-measure the length you want the longest part of the skirt to be, and add an inch for seams. then cut a rectangle this measurement by half your waistband measurement.

  • Step 3

sew these two rectangles together, then sew them to the waistband. sew the zipper into one side, and try it on.

  • Step 4

    this is the tricky part

put it on inside you and pin the sides so it's fitted to your body. while you're doing this, pin the hem as you want it, either straight or angled like mine.

  • Step 5

    sewing

now very carefully take it off careful not to stab yourself with the pins. and sew it all together.

  • Step 6

    the moment of truth..

now you try it on, if theres any parts that dont fit properly just pin and fix them

    and you're done! TA DA!
