sookie, maybe your could try to find a plastic cup at a 2nd hand shop that fits the circumference you need and cut to the length you need to hold onto your lense. it won't matter if it's tapered (most cups are) just as long as some part of it fits well around your lense without being too far away so you don't have to zoom in too close to get the image from the peephole.

Ooo I really gotta try this! The only problem is that I don't know what to use instead of a bottle cap; I have a SLR so I need something much bigger! Any ideas?

Cavale, I have a Canon Powershot with a zoom lens.<BR>Here's a link:<BR>http://www.intersys.gr/downloads/images/large/PowerShot_A400-green.jpg<BR><BR>I got the peephole at a hardware store (HomeDepot, Lowes) and there's different viewing degrees you can choose from. I think mine is 160°.
