you can also subsitute cod with salmon. This is a family fave, I just love fish cakes, great with mustard pickles, ketchup or dill mayo.

you can also subsitute cod with salmon. This is a family fave, I just love fish cakes, great with mustard pickles, ketchup or dill mayo.

Instructions

1. 

   peel potatoes then wash and cut them and take out your fish from the freezer

2. 

   boil the potatoes till they are almost done then add the fish and let it boil till tender

3. 

   drain the potato/fish mix and pour into a bowl add the chopped onions, a egg, some salt and pepper and mash it up

4. 

   now mold the mix into patties I make it look like balls, then flatten them --------------------------------- now on the stove, grease a pan turn on med heat and put the patties in, let them brown. then serve
