Step 1Cast on
Creat a slip knot and tighten it around one knitting needle.
Cast on another 25 stitches so that you have 26 stitches in total. -
Step 2Cuff
Work 5 rows in garter stitch (knit every row). -
Step 3Body
Work 10 rows in stocking stitch (knit one row, purl one row) -
Step 44. Thumb hole
Knit 12 stitches, cast off 3 stitches, knit to end of the row -
Step 5Purl 11 stitch, cast on 3 stitches, purl to end of the row

Step 65. Edging
work 5 rows in garter stitch (knit every row) -
Step 76. Finishing off
Cast off all stitches loosely, cut the yarn leaving a 20 cm tail and pull it through the last stitch.
Thread the sewing needle onto the tail -
Step 8Fold the mitt in half and use mattress stitch to sew up the seam on the right side

Step 9Weave in the remaining ends of yarn on the wrong side of your mitt.
