this is just any simple quick, possibly colorful bracelet, that you can make for yourself or your friends. it can also be a fun craft that kids can do:] i had learned to finge-knit when i was about 8. so its supper easy for kids. and there's different ways of doing it, for example, don't connect the pinky finger and the index finger and it will be open instead of closed like this one. you can also change it by doing a different amount of fingers. it's just a little more difficult to do 2 hands but ive done it before:] it just takes time. and if you start and have to finish later(wich you probably should have to on this, if you make something else out of it)you can get a stick of any sort (i always used pencils) and slip it throught the finger holes and finish it later:] have fun and enjoy:]

start by taking your yarn and making a slip knot.
put the slip knot on your finger just like in the picture. (by the way, im left handed so im doing it on my right hand but if your right handed it would be easier to do it on you left)
get the long piece(the piece connected to the actually bulk of yarn)and bring it in front of your middle finger, and then around the back of your middle finger to the front again(when i say front, i mean the palm part.). then do the same to your ring finger, then to your pinky finger. it should look like in the picture.
then after you wrap your pinky finger, bring it back to your index finger just like in the picture.
it should look like this from behind. now take the bottom string (in the picture, it's the white string) and slip it over the top(red) string and over your finger tip. (and this is multi-colored yarn)
this picture might be a little confusing, but if you can see it well, this is what your index finger should look like but if you can't see it that well then just go on to the next step. you wont mess up if you don't see it.
and here it is from behind:] a lot easier to see. but then you just lay the string over your other fingers and take the bottom string and slip it over the top string and over the tip of your finger.
then it looks like this.
after you finish with your pinky, then bring it down and around the outside of your index finger and do the same thing you did in step 7 for the 4 fingers, then back to step 9, (bringing it around your hand)doing that over and over a few times.
don't worry if it looks a mess, because it is suposed to. just stretch it out to look like....
this:] (im pulling it by the way. it falls a little loose when you stop pulling on it but it looks less of a mess)
then after kniting a few times to your desired length, cut a tail about 5 or 6 inches long. weave in the tail by putting it up through the bottom of the loops on your fingers and sliding the loops off your fingers.
tie it in a knot(my hand and yarn bulk just shows the size of it)double knot it by the way.
cut the tips however long and cut the loops that stay so then it looks frayed at the knot. i burned the knot a little so that it says knoted but if you do that, be careful:] and if your doing this with kids, don't let them light it obviously:] hope you like it.:]
