A very basis summary on making a fimo-cutie!
(or any kind of fimo thing really!)
Im still teaching myself how to use this material myself so If anyone has any tips,I would greatly appreciate it because this is a medium I would love to master!

You Will Need

Step 1
First off,you will need to find some fimo to play with!This stuff can range in price but tends to be roughly $5 for one small package.
Fimo comes in a crazy amount of different colors including metalics and neons so you can really have alot of fun with this stuff!

Preheat your oven to 130'C(275'f).

Before you get started,get a clean dishcloth and wipe down the surface you will be working on VERY WELL.Little flecks of dirt and hair LOVE to stick to fimo,and there is nothing more annoying than finishing something and there be a big piece of something living in it!argh!

A few tips before you get started:
*Collect a few things from around the house that may help you create such as a rolling pin,toothpicks or any other objects that may help you make designs in the clay.
*Have a clean damp cloth handy.I find this useful because some of the fimos color(depending on the color)bleed onto your hands and end up mixing with your other colors.
*I also try to pre-determine what I am making or draw it out,then make the pieces seperately(like the legs,eyes and heart of my octo cutie) and then assemble them.I find this easier because when you are handling the fimo alot it gets warm and squishy and fussier to work with.

Now it is time to have some fun!

Once you are finished place your fimo-ling's onto the cookie sheet,and into the oven!
Bake for 15 minutes per 6mm(1/4") of thickness.
Don't let it burn!

Let your fimo creation cool and thats it!
I recommend putting some kind of gloss over it afterwards(or even clear nailpolish).This makes it look alot nicer!
