Description

Kitsch plastic charms such as these brightly coloured fruits add an element of fun, retro style to any design. They are perfect for wearing at summer parties!

Instructions

Using the end or side cutters, cut a piece of chain seven links long. Using the pliers, open the loop at the bottom of the earring hook, thread the end link of the chain onto it and close.

Using the pliers, open three of the jump rings and thread them onto the biggest charms – the orange, apple and plum. Attach them to the loop at the bottom of the earring hook.

Use another jump ring to attach the green pear to the first link of the chain.

Use another jump ring to attach the grapes to the second link of the chain.

Attach the banana to the third link, the cherries to the fourth link and a leaf to the fifth link,
using a jump ring for each.

Use a jump ring to attach the other leaf to the last link of the chain.

Repeat all of the steps to create a matching earring. To create this lovely cascading shape, remember to attach the largest charms at the top of the chain and then the others in descending size order towards the bottom.
