yuck turn that hat into style!
so buying a sweet hat can get pricey. my husband LOVES fendoras and is willing to spend the money on one. I on ther other hand know that money is tight and still wanted one sooo, why not get a plain one and do it up? I am tiny so regual hats never fit me in the first place. but the childrens sizes do.. down side is kiddie hats always look, well childish and im 20. SO i up do them. enjoy p.s, my hubbie wore the flower ribbon as a head band all night long after i tore it from the bloody hat! what a weirdo

Step 1
First go get yourself a plain hat. THis one was on sale at walmart for 7.00.
Step 2
That fabric around it is too kiddish for my taste so get rid of it! ... i thought it was sewn on but surpirze when i found out it was super glue. Now i have a nasty glue ring round the hat., BOOO. but fear not we can cover it up!
Step 3
Get out your supplies. For me it was ribbon, fabric bits,Buttons with sweet pictures on them and of course your trusty needle and thread. ... Now get to work!!! yes my mirror is a lady bug. Im s kid at heart -_0 (wink) Sorry bout the lack of pics i forgot i was doing a how to when i made this.
Step 4
Sew on your ribbon or fabric around that nasty glue ring. Ta da you cant see it. you can leave it like that or if you're like me its still a bit too dull. So add buttons and a feather?

Step 5
look at your hat if you like it sweet now wear it out!!! I didnt like the feather after all so i took it off.
See? no more feather! YAY!!!

Now go out and impress all thoese people who spent 30 bucks on a fendora. ... you cant tell but the white fabric is pin striped. hehe,
