Felted Black Bird

I recently got a book with instructions on how to make animals out of felting wool. After looking everywhere for felting supplies here in England(the book is American)I eventually got enough colours to make some creatures. Unfortunately though the tiny, sew-on glass eyes they use in the book are not sold in this country. I therefore had to make my own out of clay. To make them look a bit more like glass eyes I used clear nail polish as a finishing varnish. Bernard took me quite a while, but he's so adorable it was worth it!
