"An Adventurer is You!"
I made this little guy for my brother, but after seeing what's available online in the way of sabretooth lime plushies, I might just put these in my Etsy.

Overall, I had fun, and my brother loved it. Enjoy!

Step 1Cut pieces. You will need two lime-shaped pieces, two narrow football-shaped pieces, and for tooth-shaped pieces (two of them being slightly shorter).

Step 2Cut two slits in one of the lime-shaped pieces wide enough for the teeth to fit through. Pull the teeth through about a centimetre.

Step 3Flip the lime + teeth over and line up the teeth where you want them.

Step 4Backstitch the teeth to the lime to secure them in place.

Step 5Because you're making a mouth, while backstitching, curve the stitches slightly upward (or downward) at both ends.

Step 6Now start whip stitching all of the edges of the body pieces together, making sure that you completely close both ends of the lime.

Step 7Leave an opening in the lime body for stuffing...

Step 8...and stuff!

Step 9Now whip stitch the opening closed, and push the stuffing into place by molding the lime in your hand to make it the right shape.

Step 10Taking one of your slightly-shorter tooth pieces at a time, whipstitch them to the bottom of the tooth that is already attached to the lime. Repeat for the other tooth.

Step 11Sew the hole created under the tooth shut (thread your needle through the underside of the back stitches and then through the lime body--UNDER the tooth). Repeat for the other side.

Step 12Thread the needle through only the bottom layer of the tooth (so it won't show from the top), and fasten to the body to hold the tooth down into place. Make sure you keep the teeth lined up where you want them.

Step 13And you're done! Admire your sabretooth lime, because it's awesome, and truly now "an adventurer is you!"
