This project needs only basic knowledge in sewing.
1) Cut 4 big circles, slightly bigger than the diameter of your PVC pipe; 2) 1 long and 1 short rectangular felt with 2 half circles at the top and bottom.
Cut a little opening on the PVC pipe for your coins to go through (Measure with the biggest coin you have!)
Sew the two rectangles together.
Slip the PVC pipe in and add some polyfill on the legs so that they could stand.
Make a pair of ears with felt.
1) Design facial expression for it. 2) Add another layer of big circle below the face and fill the in between with some polyfill.
Join the stuffed pancake-like head to the body with thread.
Add a zipper behind so that you don't need to smash it open later when the piggy bank is full.
Make a tail for it and stitch it on another big circle.
Join the tail to the body.
Add a ribbon and start saving.
