Evoke warm, winter cosiness with these felt Christmas stockings. Decorate the stockings with Christmas stars or mini stockings punched out of felt. This cute Christmas decoration is simple to make using various cutting dies, twine and Velcro. Fill with stocking-filler gifts or hang on the mantelpiece or Christmas tree as handmade decorations.

Instructions

1. 

   Lay two pieces of felt on top of one another and cut out a Christmas stocking using the pdf example. You could also draw your own outline and cut that out.

2. 

   Use the Cut ‘Em Easy cutting and embossing machine to cut out various shapes to go onto the stocking.

3. 

   Secure the Velcro sticker to the back of the shapes, and the other part to the stocking. Now stick the shapes onto the stocking.

4. 

   Sew the two stocking parts together with decorative stitching, such as blanket stitch. Use baker’s twine for this.

5. 

   Create an eyelet in the stocking and attach a clothes peg or hook to it to hang the stockings up with.
