Description

Use just a few items to create this adorable feather bracelet.

Instructions

  1. Small 2014 03 04 234123 img 4694

Cut a small portion off the top of your cardboard tube. You can use your elastic as a guide of how thick to make it.

  2. Small 2014 03 04 234221 img 4698

Your cardboard tube should look like this.

  3. Small 2014 03 04 234234 img 4699

Cut off about 2-3 inches of elastic.

  4. Small 2014 03 04 234300 img 4701

Using a stapler, secure the elastic to the ends of your cardboard tube. Make sure the sharp part of the staples are on the outside. (This is very important because if the staples are on the inside, they risk snagging your skin. That's a no-go!)

  5. Small 2014 03 04 234435 img 4704

Start placing your glue at the end of your bracelet. That way you work your way around and all the ends of the feathers will overlap one another.

  6. Small 2014 03 04 234535 img 4705

Carefully lay your feather over the new line of hot glue. It's very hot so be cautious when holding it in place.

  7. Small 2014 03 04 234642 img 4707

Overlap your hot glue over the last feather and also on the bracelet. Place another feather. Work your way around your bracelet until you get to the end.

  8. Small 2014 03 04 234718 img 4719

Trim any glue strings and sharp feather pieces and voila! A complete feather bracelet.

OPTIONAL: Use an old piece of jewelry and hot glue it to the center of the bracelet. It adds an extra element to the whole piece.
