Description

If you already have a wood-plank bench or end table, this project will only take 5 minutes and under $10. If you don't have the table, you can build one with any board and some table legs in about 10 minutes.

Instructions

  1. Small 111014 2f2015 09 13 181150 img 1559 600x400

Cut out a section of your blanket. It needs to be large enough to wrap around your wood plank from top to bottom. It needs to be long enough to stretch from one side of the plank to the other, minus 4-6 inches on either side.

  2. Small 111014 2f2015 09 13 181251 img 1563 600x461

Starting on the bottom of the plank, fold one corner of the blanket under and staple it in place.

  3. Staple across the length of the blanket along the entire underside of the wood.

  4. Small 111014 2f2015 09 13 181417 img 1557 600x900

Fold under the cut side edges and staple them to the bottom of the board, pulling the blanket taught as you go.

  5. Small 111014 2f2015 09 13 181442 img 1564 600x400

Flip the board over and continue folding the sides under and stapling them down.

  6. Small 111014 2f2015 09 13 181508 img 1568 600x900

Flip the board back over so the bottom side is up and finish stapling the blanket in place, covering up the other edge of the blanket.

  7. Small 111014 2f2015 09 13 181606 img 2297 600x945

Drill screw holes in to the bottom of the plank where you want the legs to go and secure legs in place. (If you are working with an existing table or bench, skip this last step.)
