You Will Need (4 things)
- Fabric Scissors
- Fabric
- Safety Pin(s)
- Coat hanger
Steps (9 steps, 60 minutes)
-
1
Gather some materials, fabric flowers, wire hanger, scissors ect.
-
2
I used an old man's shirt and cut long strips of fabric and then cut them into 4 inch pieces.
-
3
You're going to want to shape your hanger into a circle. Originally I was going to use the hook for mine but changed my mind later.
-
4
I took the hook apart and taped it together using electric tape.
-
5
Next I tied my pieces of fabric to the wreath. One thing I love about the men's shirt is the buttons and button holes. I left those on to add visual interest.
-
6
Once my wreath was full it was time to decide how to decorate my wreath.
-
7
I wanted to use some warm fabric flowers I made but I wanted to be able to change them out so instead of hot gluing them or sewing them on, I used large safety pins that I pined around the wire.
-
8
Build up around your wreath however you want.
-
9
To hang my wreath, I tied a thick satin ribbon around the top and finished it off with a bow.
