You Will Need (3 things)

  • Fabric length of Table 2 coordinating
  • Coordinating Thread
  • 2 Coordinating Tassels

Steps (5 steps, 90 minutes)

  1. 1

Select 2 coordinating heavy weight fabrics. Iron them. Cut the fabric 14 inches wide and 1 foot longer than your table. I also wanted it pointy at the ends, so I measured up 7 inches and drew a line from the center out to the edge and cut it to a point.

  2. 2

Next I put the fabric together, right sides together.

  3. 3

Pin the fabrics together, being sure to pin it a lot at the points to make sure they stay together.

  4. 4

Sew all the way around, leaving about an 8 inch section un-sewn. (Is that a word?) Then trim the fabric all the way around, leaving a very small amount of allowance.

  5. 5

Trim the edges. Turn it right side out, iron it well, being sure to press it really well at the seams. Where the fabric is not sewn, turn the fabric ends under to be sewn closed. Finally, sew all the way around on the right side to close the seam and make a nice crease. Sew the tassels on the points.
