With the changing seasons comes decorations and decor that is constantly changing. Why not change your front doormat to welcome guests? This tutorial that's quick and simple will give your front door some added fall flair while spending less than $15.

Step 1
Gather your materials to start creating your new doormat!
Step 2
Squirt a generous amount of your white craft paint onto your paint palette. You will easily go through at least one small bottle of craft paint depending on your design.
Step 3
Lightly paint your design and/or wording onto your doormat using your paintbrush.
Step 4
Your design will look very faded after your first coat.
Step 5
Apply numerous coats of white paint over your word and design until you reach your desired look. You do not have to wait for the paint to fully dry before adding another coat.
Step 6
Allow your doormat to dry overnight before placing at your front door. It is just that simple to create your own!
