you need a silver paperclip. wrap it around a pencil or a paintbrush to get your desired loop. make sure it fits snugly on your septum. trim excess metal off of hoop using wire cutters. sand rough edges until they are smooth enough so that they will not hurt.
take beads of your choice and slip them on your hoop. small beads or seed beads work best. I recommend gluing your beads down but I did not.
rock your fake septum. great for if you are scared to commit or if you are trying to decide if you like the piercing or not.
