Make some fish with clay and paint them. Add two layers of nail hardener so they will survive tha water ;)
Fill the fish bowl with water and some small rocks.
Now you can use fake plants for the decoration!
Also some shells are nice as decoration.
Maybe it's weird, but I used a hair for this, cause that's the most invisible string I had. Now stretch the long hair over the fish bowl and use invisible tape to hold it on both sides. (I know you guys thought it was genius, from reading old comments *wink wink*)
On the picture you see red lines, those are the hair. The thickest is the main hair. And at the arrows there is tape. Hope you understand how the fish swim now in the middle of the bowl and not at the sides. Now it's more realistic when they swim in the middle. The hairstring is invisible! (well almost)
And now you have a fake aquarium! If you did it well, it wouldn't look fake at all!
