I was my own version of Tinkerbell for Halloween one year. The dress was bought, plain green... I sewed the flowers on to it, and sewed crinoline underneath the skirt to make it a little poofier. The wings were made with wire from the dollar store (I actually bought a gauge that was too weak, so I had to take several strands and wrap them around each other to make them strong enough. Stretched panty hose over them. Hot glued the flowers that matched the dress to the tips of the wings, and some stretchy sequin cord to the edges. Painted swirly designs with yellow fabric paint. You can't see it clearly, but I also made a hair wrap out of wire, flowers and ribbon for my hair. (ignore the somewhat drunken 2nd picture... it was a great party! LOL)
