I recently saw a few different variations of this DIY floating around the internet and so I decided to try my own take on it! Here I have created mini luminaries out of a mason jar and an old spaghetti sauce jar!

Instructions

  1. Small 6a0154324516d9970c0167647f73d2970b 800wi

So basically, you will paint the inside of your jar with a layer of Mod Podge and sprinkle with some glitter if you want. Then cut the fabric strips about an inch and a half wide and as tall as the height of the jar! Dip the strips in Mod Podge and lay strips inside of the jar. Make sure the strips overlap so you don't have any glass areas exposed.

This is how it should look finished. It may take up to a day to fully dry so be patient.

And that's it! Let it dry and then fill with flowers, tea lights, or whatever you would prefer! :)
