Based on Fabric Covered Buttons by Magda K.
Here are my home made shank buttons, again using my Big-Shot die cutting machine to make them. I bought it just after xmas! I am trying to do all kinds of thing with it! I am thinking out of the box all the time I use it!
I only have a few dies for it nothing fancy, mainly basic shapes. Trying to justify my big spend on the Big-Shot...but so far I am doing that, with the stuff I am trying out.
Some are covered in tin and some in material. I spent ages and ages trying to get the shank into the middle of the button. After a while I managed to work something out!I also tested loads of different things for a shank.I used suff around the house to make them...old plastic file backs, ribbon, funky foam and even leather! We crafter never chuck anything out! Well only as far as my shed :o)
They will be made into a cuff or a badge at a later date.
