This is a very easy tutorial that I came up with to make brooches in any color with your own design.
Cut a circle from your fabric.And cut a smaller one from the cardboard.
Draw and embroider your design on the fabric. On my green brooch I just cut around the pattern of the fabric. So if you have a piece of fabric with a pattern that you love,this is a great way to turn it into something you can wear.And you dont even need to embroider.
Get your needle and thread and stitch along the edge of the circle.Now pull the thread so you get a little sack.
Stuff it.I used cotton wool.
Now put the cardboard circle on the top of the cotton wool.
Pull the thread until its tight enough and glue a safety pin on the back. Your brooch is done!
Wear it on your scarfs or shirts.
Or add them to your bags to spice them up! Hope you enjoyed! :)
