Fabric flower centerpiece, made of fabric brooches attached to a rag ball
I wanted to make a fabric flower brooch bouquet for a blog challenge (here is the story http://bairozan.blogspot.com/2012/05/flower-power.html). I decided to make a rag ball and pin the brooches to it (like a centerpiece). I made singed brooches and a kanzashi flower, the rag ball took two T-shirts, a tank and a pair of male pyjamas (or what was left from previous projects) to make and a piece of nice fabric for the surface. Actually, I made a lot more flowers so I'll be showing another bouquet shortly. I followed two tutorials - for the T-shirt yarn (http://mousechirpy-polkadotpineapple.blogspot.com/2008/03/tutorial-t-shirt-yarn.html) and the pyjamas and fabric yarn (http://pm-betweenthelines.blogspot.com/2010/07/diy-colorful-wire-clothes-hanger.html). I used only stuff I had at home. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have :)

Thank you, Wild Rose! If you need details about how I made it, see the link to my blog. If you want to know what for - I give my brooches for sale to a seamstress and she displayed it in her studio Happy
