I saw a fabric box on a expensive looking design shop's display. It was very expensive but very easy to make. In the same day's night, I quickly made one for myself! I used it to leave a morning note for my boyfriend, that's why my squirrel lies in the picture :)

Description

I saw a fabric box on a expensive looking design shop's display. It was very expensive but very easy to make. In the same day's night, I quickly made one for myself! I used it to leave a morning note for my boyfriend, that's why my squirrel lies in the picture :)

Instructions

  1. For the start, you need 4 pieces. 2 circle pieces for bottom and 2 pieces for the sides. I used a ducktape to measure the bottom of the box. I measured its circumference and cut the sides according to it.

I first sewed the rectangle piece's short sides to eachther then I attached the bottom to it with cursory stich. Then I sewed with the machine on the cursory stitch.

You need to apply the previous step to the other pieces. One is going to make inside, the other is going to make the outside of the box. (Sorry for the mess of my craft table :P) Put the inside out box into the other one. Attach the ends and sew it!

There it is! Your new craft box is ready to use!
